Q: What is the Trevian Soccer Club(TSC)? 
 
A: The TSC is a community based travel soccer club. Our goal is to provide quality soccer education to children that reside in the New Trier Township. 
 
Q: What constitutes living in the New Trier Township? 
 
A: In order for players to be eligible to participate in the TSC, they must reside within the New Trier Township, which is the towns of Wilmette, Kenilworth, Glencoe, Winnetka, and portions of

Q: When was the club founded? 
 
A: 1984 
 
Q: What are the age groups? 
 
A: The club has U8-U12 boys and girls teams. Players U13-U18 should try out with FC United, for more info visit www.fcunitedpremier.com

Q: When are tryouts? 
 
A: Tryout for the 2008-2009 season will begin June 1st, 2008. Keep checking the website for exact dates and times. 
 
 
Q: When does the season start/end? 
 
A: The soccer calendar year consists of three seasons: fall season, winter season, spring season. The Fall season generally begins mid-August and ends mid-November. The Winter season begins the first week of January and ends mid-March. The Spring season starts the first week of April and ends the second week of June. 
 
 
Q: How many practices and games should we expect? 
 
A: There are two practices per week in the Fall and Spring season and one practice per week during the Winter season. Teams play 10 games during each of the seasons. In addition to regularly scheduled games all teams participate in one pre-season tournament. Teams may participate in additional tournaments throughout the year. 
 
 
Q: Where are games played? How much travel is involved? 
 
A: Boys and girls teams play half of their games at home and half away. The home fields are located in Glenview and Northfield. Away games vary depending on the opponents, with locations throughout the Chicagoland area.
 
Q: Where are practice held? Where are the home fields? 
 
A: Practices are held at various parks throughout the community. Our Home fields are in Glenview. Directions to

Q: Do you offer camps and/or private lessons? 
 
A: Yes. More info can be found under the "Programs" link. 
 
 
Q: What is the cost? 
 
A: Registration fees for the 2008-2009 season are listed in the tryout brochure. In addition, new players are required to purchase a uniform which costs approximately $225. Returning players do not need to purchase a new uniform.   
 
Q: When are the fees due? 
 
A: All fees are due when rosters are posted in June. 
 
 
Q: Is there financial assistance? 
 
A: Financial assistance is available on a limited basis for families that qualify. Family Services of Glencoe provides an application to determine eligibility. The application can be found here
 
 
Q: Who operates the club? 
 
A: The club is governed by the TSC Board of Directors, which is an all-volunteer board. The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the club.
 
Q: Are your coaches licensed? 
 
A: The club is proud of its coaching staff. All coaches are USSF licensed and are active participants in the Positive Coaching Alliance. For more info on each coach, visit the Coaches page. To find out more about the PCA, please visit http://www.positivecoach.org
